My Passion

I am deeply passionate about the power of proper nutrition and self-care for optimal health. I firmly believe in the food as medicine approach, which emphasizes nutrient-rich, wholesome foods to prevent and manage diet-related health issues. I am dedicated to using my professional skills to raise awareness and amplify the voices of nutrition and health-focused brands that are committed to building a healthier future and driving impactful change.

My Expertise

I bring over 16 years of experience in digital marketing and communications across various sectors including Healthcare, Investments and Technology. My professional journey started at Boston Children’s Hospital, where I simplified complex emergency information and protocols for staff, patients, and families. This role was instrumental in enhancing my ability to make intricate, complex information clear and accessible.

My expertise further expanded during my decade at John Hancock Investments, where I developed and led the creation of global digital marketing strategies that significantly enhanced brand awareness, visibility and growth.

Motivated by my passion to enhance the health and well-being of others, I have committed to furthering my education in the field of nutrition, health and well-being. I became certified as an Employee Wellness Program Planner and am currently enrolled in a Nutrition and Healthy Living graduate program at eCornell.

My professional journey is now dedicated to merging my marketing and communications expertise with my knowledge and passion for wellness and holistic health. This fusion is aimed at empowering better-for-you brands to thrive, champion healthier living, and significantly advance initiatives around food as medicine and overall well-being.

My Personal Health Journey

After having two children and navigating the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I was determined to reclaim my health. Struggling with my weight and eager to improve my overall well-being for both myself and my family, I turned to a nutritionist for guidance. This pivotal step not only helped me shed nearly 30 pounds in a sustainable way, but also sparked my interest in the profound impact of nutrition on health.

Despite this progress, I continued to battle other health issues like acne, fatigue, and severe migraines, which had plagued me since I was 16. In search of relief, I turned to a gut health specialist and adopted a holistic and functional medicine approach. Over the subsequent six to twelve months, these changes brought about dramatic improvements, most notably reducing my migraine frequency from as often as five to ten times a month to just once every other month. Witnessing these improvements reinforced my belief in the transformative power of proper nutrition and self-care, solidifying my commitment to integrating them into our lives.

My True Calling

My journey to better health unveiled my true calling, compelling me to pivot my career towards health and wellness. I am excited to use this platform to apply my expertise and passion, aiming to improve health outcomes, expand knowledge, and make health and wellness accessible to all. I'm ready to put my marketing skills to work for health-focused brands, eager to help them make a meaningful impact and achieve success.
